Meet Dr. Kit Bennion
Dr. Bennion brings a rare combination of advanced clinical training and deeply personal perspective to pediatric dentistry. After completing his Pediatric Dental Residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania in 2008, he developed extensive expertise in sedation dentistry and the treatment of medically complex pediatric patients. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the only nationally recognized certifying body for the specialty, which requires passing a rigorous dual-examination process and an ongoing commitment to continuing education.
A Personal Connection to Every Patient
Dr. Bennion and his wife are parents to seven children, including a son born with Down Syndrome. That experience is not just a part of his personal story; it directly shapes the way he practices dentistry. He understands firsthand what it means to navigate the healthcare system as the parent of a child with unique needs, and he brings that understanding into every patient interaction. His goal has always been simple: help every child leave the office with a healthy smile and a positive memory of their visit.
Dr. Bennion is particularly experienced in treating children with special needs, including those with developmental, behavioral, and medical complexities. He also welcomes special needs patients who are over 18, as long as they are able to participate in their own care. This continuity of care is something he is deeply committed to, because the need for compassionate, expert dental care does not end at childhood.
