Medicaid Patients

We accept Medicaid for eligible children, making quality pediatric dental care accessible to all families in our community. Our office staff can help determine if your child qualifies and explain the coverage available for different procedures.

Understanding Your Insurance Benefits

Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. As a courtesy to you, we will file your primary dental insurance claims, but please remember:

  • Insurance benefits are determined by you and your employer, not by our office
  • We do not guarantee payment from your insurance company
  • Some services may not be covered by your specific plan
  • You are responsible for knowing your plan’s limitations, exclusions, and provisions
  • Patient portions and deductibles are due at the time of service
  • The balance is your responsibility whether or not your insurance company pays

Our knowledgeable administrative team is here to help you navigate these complexities. Before your child’s treatment, we will:

  • Verify your coverage
  • Provide a clear explanation of expected costs
  • Answer any questions about your benefits
  • File claims on your behalf

We understand insurance terminology can be confusing, so we’re happy to explain what terms like deductibles, co-pays, and annual maximums mean for your family’s dental care.

Financing Options

We offer several payment options to accommodate your family’s budget:

CareCredit

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card designed specifically for medical and dental expenses not covered by insurance. Benefits include:

  • Flexible payment plans
  • Special financing options with no interest (upon approved credit)
  • Easy online application process
  • Quick approval decisions
  • Use for the entire family’s dental care needs

  • Transparent payment terms
  • No hidden fees
  • Quick application process

Additional Financial Policies

Responsibility for Minors

The parent or guardian who brings the child to their appointment is financially responsible for all services rendered, unless arrangements have been made prior to the appointment.

Missed Appointments

Appointment times are reserved specifically for your child. Unless rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, we charge a $50 no-show fee. For scheduled sedation appointments, a $50 no-show fee will be applied to the account. Excessive missed appointments may result in being asked to seek dental services elsewhere.

Emergency Appointments

For emergency appointments after regular business hours, an after-hours fee is charged in addition to any services rendered at the visit. All emergency treatment must be paid in full at the time of service.

Past-Due Accounts

You are responsible for any balance on your account after 30 days, whether insurance has paid or not. After 90 days, the account will be considered past due and may be referred to a collection agency, with additional fees added to cover collection costs.

Let’s Discuss Your Options

We believe financial concerns shouldn’t prevent your child from receiving quality dental care. Our administrative team is committed to helping you find the most advantageous way to afford your child’s dental treatment.
