For children who feel anxious or who have difficulty sitting still, we offer sedation options that can make the experience more comfortable. Nitrous oxide, often called laughing gas, is the most common option we use. It helps children feel relaxed and at ease without putting them fully to sleep, and it wears off quickly after the procedure.
